OPES develops remedial action plans that are consistent with the site conditions that are cost effective. Recent project experience includes the development and implementation of remediation action plans for leaking underground storage tank sites. Remedial actions associated with the contaminated soils, groundwater and the presence of free product (gasoline) include over excavation and disposal of highly hydrocarbon-impacted soils (>900 Cu. Yd.), and the installation of a pneumatic free product removal system for the recovery, storage and subsequent disposal of free phase product and contaminated groundwater.
