Phase I Environmental Site Assessment
A phase I environmental assessment includes a site description detailing site observation, location, adjacent properties and utilities. It also addresses record reviews which involves on-site and off-site research, regulatory review, summary of regulatory listings, physical setting sources and historical land use. It also includes a site reconnaissance and interviews which entails geographic settings, topography, geology and hydrology, site conditions and report preparation.
